3. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share your information with the following trusted service providers, each of whom is contractually bound to use your data only to deliver services on our behalf:
Google LLC — Analytics and Search
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console to understand how visitors use our website. Google collects IP addresses and browsing behavior via cookies and tracking scripts. Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
CleanTalk — Spam Protection
We use CleanTalk to filter spam across all website forms. When you submit a form, CleanTalk receives your IP address, email address, and form submission data and analyzes it on their cloud servers to detect spam. CleanTalk’s privacy policy is available at cleantalk.org/privacy-policy.
Microsoft Corporation — Email Delivery
All outgoing emails from our website — including contact form notifications and work order confirmations — are routed through Microsoft 365. Email content passes through Microsoft’s servers in transit. Microsoft’s privacy statement is available at privacy.microsoft.com.
WPMU Dev — Security and Performance
We use WP Defender for website security monitoring and WP Smush Pro for image optimization, both provided by WPMU Dev. These tools may process technical data such as IP addresses and image files in connection with site security and performance. WPMU Dev’s privacy policy is at wpmudev.com/privacy-policy.
SMS Messaging Provider
We use a third-party SMS platform to deliver text messages to opted-in subscribers. This provider receives your mobile phone number and message content solely to deliver communications on our behalf and is contractually prohibited from using your information for any other purpose.
4. Disclosure Required by Law
We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.
5. Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to enable site functionality and collect analytics data. Specifically:
- Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-KW78S9066H): Tracks page views, session duration, traffic sources, and user behavior. IP addresses are processed by Google and may be anonymized.
- WordPress session cookies: Set when you interact with certain site features or forms. These contain session identifiers and do not include sensitive personal data.
- CleanTalk: May set cookies or use pixel-based tracking to distinguish human visitors from bots during form submissions.
Most browsers allow you to manage or disable cookies in their settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain website features.
6. SMS Communications
Offshore Marine & Outdoors provides standard-rate SMS programs to deliver service-related updates and information to customers who have provided express consent. Consent is not a condition of service. Your carrier’s standard message and data rates may apply. All charges are billed by and payable to your mobile carrier.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You will receive a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. For help, reply HELP or contact us directly. We are not liable for delays in SMS delivery, which is subject to effective transmission from your network operator. We may use an automatic dialing system to deliver text messages.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Work order records are retained for the duration of our business relationship and as required for warranty, legal, or tax purposes. Contact form submissions are retained in our website database and email logs. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 9).
8. Data Security
We use WP Defender to monitor our website for unauthorized access, brute-force login attempts, and suspicious activity. IP addresses associated with security threats are logged and may be blocked. While we implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, no method of internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable legal retention requirements
- Opt out of SMS communications at any time by texting STOP
